Real-Time Performance Data and Virtual Metering To Boost ENERGY STAR Scores.
Agilewaves has announced a turnkey system to support ENERGY STAR projects including an automated interface to ENERGY STAR’s Portfolio Manager.
The firm’s modular design for building energy management includes a data store, energy diagnostic reports and technology to aggregate energy consumption data via sensors, submeters or building automation systems.

Agilewaves Energy Diagnostics Reports and annotations technology allows users to build baseline energy usage profiles at the system or subsystem level, then show new consumption trends once operational changes are made, allowing for continuous improvement in a building’s performance.
The firm also announced a new Sentinel Services™ program which allows energy efficiency professionals to use the Agilewaves system to provide value-added remote monitoring services. “We think that building energy management designs are still more “art” than “science”. Our system can be used as a services delivery platform which allows energy consultants to collaborate with clients to first design a building model for an ENERGY STAR project, then stay on to analyze trends, test new set-points or schedules, and monitor alerts to continuously improve building performance.
“We think of this as a “living” Operations and Maintenance (O&M) manual that can be a value-added service for clients”, said Sharer. “It’s also a great way to spot new energy efficiency projects to propose and further solidify a client relationship.”
