Agilewaves Meets CALgreen Energy Monitoring Requirements
Agilewaves meets the new CALgreen Non-Residential Building specification under the 2010 California Green Buildings Standards Code (Title 24, Part 11).
As the measurement and verficiation (M&V) foundation for your CALgreen project, Agilewaves can supply all the components required for the collection, storage and 24/7 access to energy consumption metrics.
A5.204.2 Energy Monitoring Code Requirements
CA's Title 24 Code requires the following:
Agilewaves meets the specifications for Energy Monitoring by providing:
- Data Collection via sensor measurements, sub-metering for major energy systems
- Data Storage for energy measurements of major energy systems in 5 minute intervals, up to 11 years of data.
- Data Access via a centralized management system for hourly metrics, available 24/7.
Agilewaves Energy Diagnositics for Field Verification
To achieve Tier 1 or Tier 2 Exemplary Performance, you will need to design in a rigourous measurement and verification regime - and this is where Agilewaves shines. Agilewaves’s Energy Monitoring system provides the measurement foundation to boost and verify energy performance including the required calculations for a building’s energy use and CO2 emissions.

Agilewaves Energy Diagnostic Reports
Agilewaves has a robust, flexible reporting facility to meet CALgreen's reporting requirements.
Monthly Total Reports show a bar graph of the monthly electrical, water, and gas costs, as well as the combined cost of all utilities, for the property or any selected resource or resource group during a specified time period.
Top Consumers Reports are pie charts identifying the top consumers in terms of percentage of the total cost, carbon footprint, and utility usage during a specified time period.
Comparison Reports allow users to compare usage for multiple resources or resource groups in the property list. The three kinds of comparison reports include:
- Any Two Option: Allows comparison of usage for two items in the property list in one area graph.
- Time Option: Allows comparison of usage for one item in the property list during two different time ranges.
- Multiples Option: Allows generation of up to four area graphs, each comparing one type of data for two items in the property list.
Advanced Reports allow users to generate up to three such charts vertically on the same screen. You have the option to open a full-screen view of the charts as well as to refine the date range for all of the reports on the screen.
Alerts
In addition to monitoring the overall resource usage and cost for a property, users can also set up custom alerts to measure usage during a specified time period. Alerts can measure performance or total usage, or they can identify potential leak conditions or other usage issues.
Data Integrations
Your Agilewaves deployment can also “plug-and-play” with other systems:
- Export metrics to Data to other systems via standard .csv format
- Import data from Building Automation Systems can be imported
- Import data from an SQL database
